In exercise of the powers under Regulation 75 of the ESI (General) Regulations,1950 read with the Resolution of the ESI Corporation dated 14^th December,1980 empowering the Director General to exercise such powers, the Director General, Employees State Insurance Corporation has constituted following Medical Board for the purpose of Section 54  and 54-A of the ESI Act, 1948 to examine and recommend the cases under Para 4 of the Corporation Resolution dated 28.02.76 (as amended).

The Chairman is authorized to co-opt any other specialist as a member of the Board in lieu of or in addition to the Specialist members mentioned above, either from the ESI Model Hospital, Bari brahamana, Jammu or from some other institution, if necessary, depending upon the nature of disablement for which insured person to be examined, is suffering.

 Jurisdiction:   The Board will have the jurisdiction over areas falling under the branch offices of J&K Region.
